Al-Nazem ("we", "our", or "us") is a store management and inventory application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Al-Nazem mobile app and related services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data to provide and improve our services:

• Account information — Name, email address, and password when you create or manage your account. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Business and store data — Store details, products, categories, inventory, sales, expenses, debts, customers, employees, refunds, wholesalers, and reports. This data is used to power store management features and is stored on our servers and optionally cached on your device for offline use.
• Camera access — The app may request camera access for barcode scanning to add or look up products. Camera images are processed locally for barcode decoding and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Photo library access — The app may request access to your photo library to attach images (e.g., employee IDs, receipts). Images you choose to upload are stored on our servers and associated with the relevant records.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the Al-Nazem app, sync your stores and data across devices, provide customer support, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage and Sync

Your data is stored on our secure servers. The app may cache data locally on your device for offline access. When you are online, data syncs between the app and our servers. API tokens are used for authentication and are stored securely on your device.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted connections, and secure authentication. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data and account.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page in the app. Deleting your account will permanently remove your account data, stores, and associated business data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

Offline and Local Storage

To support offline access and faster loading, the app stores a copy of your store data locally on your device. This cached data is used only by the app and syncs with our servers when you are online. You can clear app data from your device settings at any time.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and associated business data from our servers within a reasonable period, except where we must retain data for legal or regulatory purposes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Children

Al-Nazem is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
